Bring your contacts to a dedicated number

A dedicated number has no address book of its own. Now you can bring yours, from a file, and see names instead of phone numbers.

What's new

A dedicated number doesn't live on anyone's phone, so it never had an address book: transcripts showed the caller's number instead of their name.

Now you can bring your own. On the web, upload a CSV or vCard exported from your phone or your CRM. The screen tells you how many contacts it found before anything is sent, and only names and numbers leave your side.

The book belongs to the number, not to whoever sent it. If someone else on the team imports theirs, the two merge into one list and the newer name wins. To update it, import again.

As before, turning contact sync off deletes what was stored.
