ZipTalk notifications in your browser
Transcribed voice messages and calls, and incoming calls, now notify you in the browser, even with ZipTalk closed.
New
Your browser now tells you when a voice message or a call is transcribed, with the contact's name and the summary. One click opens it in the panel.
Incoming calls on a dedicated number ring in the browser too. The notification stays up until someone answers, and clicking it opens the panel so you can pick up.
With ZipTalk open, the notification shows inside the panel. With it closed, it arrives as a browser notification, as long as the browser is open.
To turn it on, open your profile menu and go to Notifications. The same page lets you mute a whole team, a number's voice messages or calls, or a contact.
Under Your devices, on the same page, you choose which browsers get the notifications, so the same one doesn't reach you twice. Calls still ring on all of them.
Notices about your account reach the browser too: minutes past 80% of the plan or used up, the trial ending, a number disconnected, a charge that failed. The ones about minutes, the trial and a disconnection also go by e-mail to the team's owners and admins, on top of the WhatsApp message the number already got.
Every confirmed payment now sends a notice in the browser, and renewals on WhatsApp too. When your billing information is missing a tax ID, the notice now reaches WhatsApp as well as e-mail. And when a number is connected for the first time, the team's owners and admins get an e-mail with the two settings worth a look at the start: where the transcript goes and the summary of long messages.
